The Journey So Far…

Having bought our farm from the landlord in 2017, we knew that we needed to diversify in order to be financially stable. We had dreamed of running a glamping site for years, and now that we own the farm rather than rent, the dream could become a reality. We submitted our plans which were passed in Early 2019. Once we received the planning permission for a 6 pod glamping site, we started work right away.

Initially we’ll be building 2-3 luxury adults-only glamping pods at the site on Knott Lane.

In March, the diggers came in to begin levelling land, digging trenches, installing electrical connections, water pipes and network cables to each of the Pod sites.

The roads and paths around the site have been marked and dug, work has started on the pond that will act as a beautiful focal point for our guests, and we’ve taken delivery of some of the outdoor furniture.

All of the kitchenware, bathroom accessories and living area items have been purchased, ready to install inside the Pods when they arrive in June.

We’ve been busy choosing the paint colours from Farrow & Ball’s collections, and we’ll show you the inside of the Pods once they have been installed on site and fitted out. Hopefully this will be at the end of June or early July depending on the weather!
